Plan, Launch, And Scale Your Funnel Today!

Thrive Apprentice is one of the most exciting plugins for 2019 – but it’s still a baby, and it has a lot of room to grow.

In this post we are going to learn about some of the fatal flaws that Apprentice currently has when it comes to conversion rates, and a super simple fix that you can implement today.

Let’s get to it!

Thrive Apprentice Registration Process

Whenever you are creating an opt in form or registration form, you want to make the process as simple as possible for your visitors.

By default, Thrive Apprentice allows your users to sign up for a free account on your site – directly within the course details.

This is a great feature as it allows people to get intrigued by your curriculum, and be just a click away from signing up.

The problem is that the registration process isn’t always seamless.

The default Thrive registration page isn’t very beautiful… in fact I couldn’t find a way to customize it at all.

It also asks for a username during the sign up, which is completely outdated.

And if you enter your details in wrong, it will redirect you to the default WordPress log in page, which doesn’t look anything like your website and can confuse your readers.

Make the Process Simple With Theme My Login

Lucky for us, Theme My Login is a great free little plugin that makes the experience much more seamless and intuitive for your readers.

And the best part is, it only takes a few minutes to set it up.

How are you liking Thrive Apprentice?

Thrive Apprentice is still in its infancy. Are you planning on using it to launch premium online courses? What are you currently struggling with when it comes to using Thrive Apprentice?

  • It didn’t work out very well for me. After I installed and activated the plugin, it asks me to login to my own wp-admin page. When I do that it takes me to my profile page but doesn’t allow me to access my dashboard and all of the admin options are gone. It gives me an error page with this message:
“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

      • Yes, sir. Easy fix by having my host provider go in and deactivate it so I could access it again. I love the idea of the plugin, don’t get me wrong, but I wish it would work out for me. 🙂

        • Crazy – you may have some other plugin that is conflicting – Theme my login is one of the gold standards for this functionality so it’s really surprising that it’s throwing you off 🙁

  • The form produced by this plugin is even uglier than the one provided by Thrive Apprentice. Is there any way that I can edit the form?
